Wearbles could be used to track the vitals of each individual on the campus and a central database at the University Hospital would monitor the same. Preventive action can be taken in case a student falls ill. Patterns can be found out and epidemics can be predicted quickly to ensure suitable action. The concept project explored the use of wearables on a closed community of IIT Bombay.
Outbreak of epidemics can be predicted early on and the individuals living in those areas can be informed accordingly. If a student is unwell, his roommate and the hospital can be notified to ensure care is taken on time.
